One of the best SPN fics I have ever read. Rated NC-17 overall. Set post S5 (ie an alternate S6), and the apocalypse is not as over as everyone thought. Not for people who think Sam can do no wrong - this fic managed to make me, a firm Sam fan, hate him. And it does it without making him in the least bit out of character. It is fantastic to see an author who can write Dean so well, can convey the complicated relationships he forms with those around him and at the same time as making him the hero, make him real and not just some self-sacrificing martyr. The storyline is fantastic, the characterisations are brilliant (especially the Archangels), anyone who has not read this fic is seriously missing out.
