| Wonderful, wonderful fic. Excellent, realistic, McKaycentric plot with a good mix laugh out loud and gut-wrenching moments. Any fan of SGA in general or McKay in particular should read this. A small sample - He doesn't say that Gall had a 4.0 at Cal Tech, that Grodin was a Rhodes scholar. He doesn't say that this class has nothing to do with grades, and nothing even really to do with science, but everything to do with all the things he learned from a man who never lost the habit of eating with his fingers and another man who wanted everyone to believe there wasn't a single intellectual bone in his body until he was ready to let you see inside and a woman who probably couldn't have even passed their eighth grade when he met her. Sometimes Rodney wonders if he wasn't the dumb one after all. | |

| Oh my holy lord.... do not read this story while you are drinking or eating, or you will irreperably damage your keyboard. A pitch perfect, cracktastic fic. I dare you not to laugh. A Sample - It's hard to make sense of. Two (2) exhausted scientists in makeshift loincloths standing in the conference room. Zelenka looks paler than his usual lab pallor, listing slowly toward Kavanagh, who hasn't looked away from the wall just to the left of Elizabeth's head since they came in. Four (4) unhappy looking Marines, wrapped in what could be someone's bed sheets, hovering by the far side of the conference room table. Lorne hasn't met her eyes once. One (1) John Sheppard, who is actually carrying off defiant military dignity, mostly because he's sitting and therefore, the skirt is out of view, leading to…. Rodney McKay, having herded everyone into the room, barking orders like a terrier rounding up a small pack of Great Danes and assorted mongrels, has taken to pacing the length of the conference room floor, looking a cross between homicidal and utterly ecstatic.
