Long series. Post TPM, AU (Qui-Gon survives) After his knighthood, Obi-Wan is sent by the council to a mission on the Rim. Several months later, he wrotes a love letter for Qui-Gon he don't intends to sent, but it's sent by error. That starts one of the best fic series I've read.

His name, at birth, was Hasegawa Kaemon, and his battle name was 'The Indigo Warrior', though he is universally known as 'Jin' now - 'the man'. Yes, he has a past. Quite unexpectedly (to him at least) he now finds himself with a future, a future involving a young man he met under less than promising circumstances. This is his story, the Indigo Story, or 'Ai no monogatari' in Japanese. I found this story in the Star Wars Archive, and the author had used Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi as the base for the characters in this story. and other than that there is really no similarities between the two. However, this story is still amazing. I was up until six AM reading this work lastnight and that alone should tell you how incredable this story is. Be prepaired to be sucked in.

Two Jedi go on mission. One of them is then turned into the pleasure slave... Cliche, isn't it? No. It's not. Helen took the most stupid cliche of the TPM fandom and made of it that brilliant, humorous story. It's funny. It's witty. It has a great style. I heartily wish Helen wrote more in that fandom. Unfortunately "Lost in Translation" is a one-fic-stand. Enjoy!

This is from the Comedy Central website, and while it may be somewhat light-hearted, it's not explicitly funny or pandering. With the exception of a few mistakes, it seems like it could fit somewhat neatly into the canon.
