Orrymain is an amazing author and all of her fics for the

I do not usually like crossovers or threesomes, but this one is hot. The story is well written and believable, and Kikkimax keeps everyone in-character (well, except for Jack, but Jack is kind of a secondary character in this story so I could overlook it).
I wish there was a sequel, so I could find out what happens next!

Daniel disappears off-world, trying to run away from his broken heart. Soon Jack realizes that Sam is not who he wants and a desperate search for Daniel ensues.
Being a slash fan, I was not interested in the Sam-Jack relationship. The story really took off for me once Jack came to his senses and began the search for Daniel. This story is sweet and angsty and happily-ever-after with a planet paradise and cute, furry alien creatures thrown in for good measure.
Recommendation Update: I recently reread this fic, and did not love it as much as I did the first time. The characters reactions are kind of extreme and not in-character (which, as you probably already know from my other recs, is a huge thing for me). |

Jack and Daniel are both so blinded by uncertainty and fear, and yet so willing to risk themselves, so incredibly brave. Komos* Jack is smart and her Daniel is strong and everything about both of them here rings completely true. Komos also has a gift for writing really hot sex scenes that have everything to do with the plot. Seriously, go read this.
