I am not a big fan of poetry or songs in fanfiction, but this story makes me LOVE poetry. I still recite some of the nursery rhymes and poems from this fic.

01881 | Alex, what the hell happened to you? On our first case together, when that Vietnam vet was describing the atrocities he_d seen, you flinched and looked away. You couldn_t watch Scully doing the autopsy either. How did you go from being a sensitive kid to a stone cold killer? I remember the look in your eyes when you shot Cole, how devastated you were to find out he didn_t have a gun. I asked you if it was the first time you_d killed somebody and you didn_t answer. I thought you were too upset to speak; I almost wanted to put my arms around you and hold you. Were you inwardly laughing at me?
You were so young then. Were you just in over your head, and I didn_t see it?
Or was it all, always, an act?

01888 | Alex finally gives in to his obsession with Mulder. Completely unprepared for Alex*s advances, Mulder is blindsided and finds himself participating in a hot one-night stand with Alex. Thus begins a wonderfully angsty and meaningful relationship that spans years and many obstacles.
This is a great story. Everybody is in-character. Mulder has no illusions about the things Krycek has done. His struggle with himself is believable. I particularly love Louise*s Krycek ... he doesn*t suddenly transform into a good person, so much as he consciously sculps his behavior to be the kind of man Mulder can accept. Scully and Skinner also behave in a (mostly) believable manner when they discover the relationship.
I couldnt put this story down. Enjoy....

One day CSM came to Mulder to gloat. Told him about his new devilish plan and that Mulder can_t do nothing to stop him. That only Alex Krycek could help Mulder if only Krycek wouldn_t be left severely brain damaged after Skinner shot him.
Sorry, for my summary I_m not good at it.
This story is fascinating, original and it was pleasure to read.
