00750 | The first volume in a trilogy of fics under the same name, Live Through is set soon after the fateful events in Kyoto. Tsuzuki is recovering but is not yet fit to go back to work; so, Hisoka has been assigned a new partner, the ever-optimistic Akimiya. Seperated from Tsuzuki and forced to put up with an irritating partner, Hisoka figures that things simply can't get any worse. Unfortunately for the brooding teenager, things are about to get worse... much worse.
Live Through is a wonderful fic all-round. The plot is captivating, the characterisation excellent, and the narrator (Hisoka) is wonderfully sarcastic, funny and descriptive. Although there is some heavy angsting and the introduction of an original character, the author pulls it off well and the result is a must-read for any YnM fan. :3 |

00751 | The second installment in the Live Through trilogy, this fic sees Hisoka help his new partner out with issues that should have been left behind at death, as well as settle into a happy new relationship with Tsuzuki (finally!). But just when things were starting to go well for the undead teen, along came Muraki to fuck it all up again...
This fic is probably my favourite in the entire trilogy. The plot is full of exciting twists, the characterisation, again, is excellent, and I just can't get enough of Hisoka's narration. Quite possibly the best YnM fic I've ever read. |

00752 | The third and final installment of the epic Live Through trilogy. When Hisoka's powers begin to disappear, it seems like everyone--even Tsuzuki--is hiding something from him. Soon he finds himself on the run and with a vitally important mission to accomplish, and the only person who can help him is the very last person he wants to see...
Well, talk about your climax. This fic is huge, and the plot certainly doesn't let the trilogy down. It's an exciting adventure that literally takes you to the depths of hell and back, and its two predecessors will seem like children's bedtime stories in comparison. This fic is an excellent end to an excellent trilogy, and well worth the read. |

00753 | Set after Kyoto, Tsuzuki and Hisoka set out to solve a case involving the mysterious deaths of people with an unusual form of amnesia. They quickly discover for themselves, however, just how unusual this form of amnesia is... and then Muraki shows up.
Standard casefic, essentially, but the plot is already quite complex (can we say multiple pairings? XD), even though the story isn't even finished yet. As always with this author, good characterisation, good prose, and generally good all-round fic. :) |
